MP Michel Murr (born in 1931) has passed away due to COVID-related complications, about a month and a half after his infection and after being hospitalized for weeks.
Before his current position as MP, Murr had held the position of deputy prime minister, and in 2004 he was elected deputy speaker of the Parliament, and held more than one ministerial position.
He was elected MP in several elections, the last of which was in 2018.
