Watch: Attacks on Yemen as Trump Monitors Operations

Social media users circulated photos of US President Donald Trump monitoring last night’s American airstrikes on Yemen.

In the images, Trump appeared wearing casual clothing and a red cap bearing his name, while wearing earphones and watching the bombing operations, which he had previously authorized against the Houthis in Yemen, accusing them of carrying out "terrorist attacks and acts of piracy against US ships and aircraft in the region."

The airstrikes resulted in dozens of casualties, both killed and wounded. The Houthis condemned the attack as a "blatant aggression against a sovereign state," vowing that the response would be "professional and painful" and that the situation would escalate to something even more severe.
