Hochstein has landed in Israel before a planned meeting with its prime minister, Israeli media report.
Hochstein had been in Beirut, seeking to secure a ceasefire agreement after the Lebanese government and Hezbollah agreed to a US ceasefire proposal although with some comments.
According to the Hayom news website, Hochstein is to also meet Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer.
