The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, claimed responsibility for the rocket attack on Tel Aviv. Israeli media reported that the strike resulted in two injuries.
Yedioth Ahronoth stated that "initial reports indicate two minor injuries due to the strike on Tel Aviv."
In a statement, the Israeli army said, "Following sirens that have been activated in the central region, five rockets were detected being fired from the Khan Younis area, with impacts observed in the region. The details are still under review."
The Al-Qassam Brigades also issued a statement: "We struck the heart of the occupation, the city of Tel Aviv, with a salvo of M90 Maqadima rockets as part of the ongoing battle of attrition, in response to the Zionist massacres against civilians and the deliberate displacement of our people."
