The Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, wrote on his X account:
"As you know, I was also injured in the recent bombings in Lebanon, like many Lebanese people.
Thanks to the initial and important efforts of Lebanese doctors, followed by the valuable contributions of Iranian doctors, my treatment is progressing well.
This injury is an honor for me, as I stand with the oppressed Lebanese people in this act of war.
To all the authorities, my dear compatriots, and the Lebanese officials and friends who were concerned about my health, who prayed for me and expressed their love, and to the respected president, ministers, and Iranian officials who provided swift assistance to save the lives of the injured, as well as the Lebanese and Iranian medical teams who worked tirelessly on my treatment and that of others, I thank you very much. I pray for the swift recovery of all the injured and for mercy and blessings for all the martyrs."
