Two men have been arrested following the seizure of an estimated €7.2m (£6.1m) worth of cocaine at Rosslare Europort in County Wexford.
Revenue officers seized the cocaine, weighing approximately 104kg, on Thursday.
The seizure was made as a result of a joint operation conducted by Revenue’s Customs Service and the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau.
Two men, aged in their 40s and 50s, were arrested by gardaí (Irish police) on Friday.
They are currently being detained at Garda stations in the eastern and southern regions.
Investigations are ongoing.
