A senior Hamas leader confirmed to Agence France-Presse on Sunday that the commander of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, Muhammad al-Deif, was "okay" after he was targeted by an Israeli strike on the Gaza Strip on Saturday.
The source, requesting anonymity, explained, “Commander Muhammad al-Deif is fine and is directly supervising the operations of the Qassam and the Resistance.”
