Israel freed dozens of Palestinians arrested during its war in Gaza, including the director of one of the enclave’s main hospitals.
Dr Muhammad Abu Salmiya said Palestinians held in Israel’s prisons face daily abuse, including torture. “Several inmates died in interrogation centres and were deprived of food and medicine,” he said.
