U.S. President Joe Biden lost his temper in front of a TikToker during a private meeting at the White House with social media influencers and threatened to throw his phone across the room.
Journalist and social media influencer Jonathan M. Katz began recording Biden's voice to press him about his support for Israel during the Gaza War. Katz asked what Biden would do to prevent the genocide happening with U.S.-funded weapons.
Biden attempted to evade the questions by claiming he was working to minimize civilian casualties in the region.
However, Biden's patience wore thin when Katz continued pressing him with questions. Biden angrily responded, "I know you're a model journalist... but I trust you as much as I can throw your phone. I have a good arm. I can throw it a long way."
Katz stated that aides contacted him after the conversation and escorted him away from Biden. He posted the video on his TikTok account, which has nearly 70,000 followers.
Katz noted on his news site "Racket" that he was surprised to receive an invitation to visit the White House last April.
The invitation included a group of left-leaning social media stars and celebrities. He found it ironic to be invited to the White House even after the president signed a bill banning TikTok, revealing that the White House guests included well-known actors.
