United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) says a merchant vessel has reported an explosion in its close proximity, located 82 nautical miles northwest of Hodeidah, Yemen.
“There is no damage to the vessel, all crew are reported safe and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call,” it said on X, adding that authorities are investigating.
