Israeli media report Israel dropped flyers over the Gaza Strip that promise Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar will face the same fate as other leaders fighting against Israel.
“No tunnel is too deep, Sinwar. Ask Sayyed Hassan,” the flyer says, in a reference to the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an underground facility.
“There will be no safe place underground, nor above the surface of the Earth, and nothing will protect them from being buried deep in the ground,” it says in Arabic.
It also showed images of other assassinated leaders such as Hamas deputy political leader Saleh al-Arouri.
