Lebanese Democratic Party leader Talal Erslan noted Tuesday said that the problem does not lie in the presidential vote but rather in the country’s sectarian regime that is based on discrimination.
Following talks with Maronite Patriarch Bechara al-Rahi, Erslan slammed the Taef accord for forcing the country backwards, saying it has fathomed the spirit of sectarianism and widened rift between local factions.
