Loyalty to the Resistance parliamentary bloc member, MP Hassan Fadlallah stressed that Salam's success in forming a new government hinges on his ability to devise a ministerial lineup that reflects existing parliamentary balances and shares.
" If we had to base the ministerial share based on our popular size, then our representation in the cabinet would be larger," he noted.
The lawmaker also pointed out that the March 14 camp's preconditions, in terms of the exclusion of Hezbollah, are unrealizable.
"We called upon the PM-designate to curb all pressures exerted by Al Mustaqbal Movement and the March 14 camp. Their preconditions aim at derailing Salam's mission to form a government because they are still aspiring to the premiership and thinking they can restore it back. We tell them that they are eluded because neither the circumstances nor the current local and regional balances would allow them to monopolize power", the lawmaker said.
"Hezbollah shall never bow to extortion and the military must be granted ample cover in order to dispensate tasks and duties to the full," he concluded.
