President Joseph Aoun affirmed that when ethics were absent, only the judiciary could hold wrongdoers and corrupt individuals accountable across all sectors, particularly in healthcare, hospitals, and pharmaceuticals.
The President’s remarks came during a meeting with a delegation from the Order of Pharmacists, led by its president, Joe Salloum.
The president also met with the Czech Ambassador to Lebanon, Jiří Doležel, with whom he discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
Additionally, President Aoun held talks with the President of the Military Court of Cassation, Judge John Kazzi, on general judicial matters.
