The Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah expressed his "sincere thanks and deep gratitude to all those who expressed their genuine feelings towards the institution" on the occasion of his appointment as its Director General. He also apologized for not accepting congratulations due to the delicate circumstances and the significant challenges the country is facing.
