Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received at the Grand Serail Qatar's Ambassador to Lebanon Saud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, with whom he discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the support provided by Qatar to Lebanon.
Premier Salam also received the President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), Kate Forbes, at the head of a delegation, in the presence of the Lebanese Red Cross President, Dr. Antoine Zoghbi, his deputy, Fadi Al-Sidawi, and the Secretary General of the Lebanese Red Cross George Kettani.
After the meeting, Al-Zoghbi said: “The discussion focused on the role of the Red Cross and local associations, especially in terms of coordination with the government and all ministries. “
The Prime Minister also met with the Dean of the Contractors Syndicate, Maroun El-Helou, with talks focusing on the Syndicate’s situation.
