The Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airlines, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, received at his Emirates Group office, Chairman and Director General of Middle East Airlines, Mohammad Al Hout, with talks touching on ways to enhance cooperation between the two airline carriers.
Both men exchanged views on the latest developments in the aviation sector and the challenges and opportunities prevailing in the region. In this context, Sheikh Al Maktoum praised the great efforts made by Middle East Airlines, highlighting its pivotal role during the recent crisis in Lebanon, noting that it was "the vital artery that kept Lebanon connected to the world, enabling the Lebanese at home and abroad to maintain communication and mobility under difficult circumstances."
The meeting comes within the framework of the close relations between Emirates Airlines and Middle East Airlines, reflecting their joint commitment to providing world-class services to passengers and strengthening cooperation ties in the aviation sector to achieve common interests.
