On emerging, Minister Morcos pointed out that the discussion "touched on the draft law on audio-visual media, which is currently under discussion by the parliamentary subcommittee stemming from the Administration and Justice Committee."
"We agreed to maintain coordination for the welfare of the Lebanese media through the lawmakers in the committee and to push forward towards issuing a modern law for audio-visual media," Minister Morcos maintained.
For his part, Sayegh pointed out that the meeting "was an opportunity to congratulate Morcos and the Council of Ministers as a whole, its president and members, on the formation of the government," indicating that the new government "gives hope to the Lebanese people and a better future for the country."
