Minister of Information Paul Morcos visited Patriarch Joseph Absi of Antioch and All the East of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church at the Patriarchate in Rabweh.
After the meeting, Morcos expressed his honor in meeting with the Patriarch to brief him on the new government’s work, particularly at the Ministry of Information.
“I was blessed by the Patriarch to proceed effectively in overcoming the challenges ahead,” Morcos said.
The Information Minister also mentioned the positive and constructive atmosphere of the first governmental session held yesterday, where President Aoun emphasized key priorities for the government’s work. He highlighted the warm welcome extended to Prime Minister Najib Mikati for his past efforts, particularly in light of the difficult circumstances Lebanon has faced. Morcos added that the government was moving forward, with the goal of finalizing the ministerial statement and starting work more effectively.
