Major General Hassan Audi, Acting Commander of the Lebanese Army, on Tuesday met with UNIFIL Commander, Lieutenant General Aroldo Lázaro, with whom he discussed the general situation in Lebanon, developments along the southern border, and efforts to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701.
Additionally, Audi welcomed Admiral Christophe Lucas, the French Navy's Mediterranean Area Governor.
Discussions between both men reportedly focused on cooperation between the Lebanese and French armies.
