Outgoing Prime Minister Najib Mikati sponsored a ceremony renaming a street in Caracas, Beirut, after Nizar Choucair, father of former minister, Mohammad Choucair. The event was attended by former Prime Ministers Tammam Salam and Fouad Siniora, along with family members, officials, and prominent figures.
In his speech, Mohammad Choucair thanked PM Mikati, Interior Minister Bassam Mawlawi, and Beirut Governor Marwan Abboud for their efforts in the initiative, calling it a tribute to Nizar Choucair’s inspiring legacy of perseverance and success that elevated Lebanon’s name globally. He emphasized the importance of honoring such figures as role models for future generations.
