President General Joseph Aoun confirmed that "Lebanon is committed to the necessity of the withdrawal of Israeli forces from its occupied southern territories within the deadline set by the agreement reached on November 27th."
During his meeting with UN Secretary-General António Guterres, he stated: "The continued Israeli violations, particularly the destruction of homes and the demolition of border villages, completely contradict what was stated in the ceasefire agreement and are considered an ongoing violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and the will of the international community."
Aoun praised the resilience of UNIFIL personnel in the face of attacks on their centers and emphasized the ongoing full coordination between them and the Lebanese army.
