UN Secretary-General António Guterres arrived at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, heading a UN delegation. He was received by the caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bou Habib, on behalf of Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun.
A formal reception was held for Guterres, attended by Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Hani Chemaitelly, UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Joanna Wronecka, UNIFIL Commander Aroldo Lázaro, and ESCWA Executive Secretary Rola Dashti.
