Another Lebanese "Earthquake": After Aoun... Nawaf Salam Prime Minister!

The day of parliamentary consultations did not end the way many had anticipated. 

The result favored Judge Nawaf Salam, who was appointed as Prime Minister-designate to form the government after receiving 85 votes, compared to 9 votes for former Prime Minister Najib Mikati, while 34 MPs abstained from naming anyone.
