Free Patriotic Movement leader, MP Gebran Bassil, received at his al-Bayada residence, the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, accompanied by a delegation from the Embassy.
The meeting took place in the presence of MP Nada Al-Bustani and FPM Foreign Relations Coordinator Tarek Sadek.
Discussions reportedly touched on regional developments, especially in Syria, as well as developments in Lebanon and the presidential election entitlement.
MP Bassil confirmed the FPM's position regarding working to elect a consensus president during the January 9 parliament session.
Bassil later received MP William Tawk, with whom he discussed the latest developments, especially the presidential election entitlement, in the presence of MP al-Bustani.
Bassil also received MP Elias Jradeh over the presidential election entitlement.
