The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement:
On 10/12/2024, in the Kfar Qouq region of Rashaya El-Wadi, unknown armed individuals coming from Syrian territory crossed the border, approached one of the Army's border posts, and fired shots into the air while seizing equipment from a Syrian army post that had been evacuated. The Army personnel fired warning shots, forcing the gunmen to retreat back into Syrian territory.
