The General Directorate of General Security announced in a statement that "due to the absence of the Syrian General Security at the border center in Jdeidet Yabus, large numbers of Syrians have flowed towards the Al Masnaa border center. Some of them attempted to enter unlawfully without going through the Lebanese General Security procedures. The General Security, in cooperation with the army and internal security forces, managed to control the situation, get them back to Syrian territory, and allow entry only for those who meet the required conditions."
