The Lebanese Army announced that, as part of efforts to oversee the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, Major General Jasper Jeffers (U.S.), Brigadier General Guillaume Ponchin (France), and Brigadier General Edgar Lawondes, Commander of the South Litani Sector, conducted an aerial inspection of the area.
The reconnaissance flight aimed to assess the field situation.
The first meeting of the five-member oversight committee is scheduled for early next week.
