Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati met, at the Grand Serail, with Head of the French military delegation partaking in the meetings of the ceasefire monitoring committee, Brigadier General Guillaume Ponchin.
The meeting was attended by French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro, and Mikati’s advisors Boutros Assaker and Ziad Mikati.
During the meeting, Mikati stressed that Lebanon’s priority is to cease fire and the Israeli violations, as well as the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Lebanese lands and boosting the deployment of the Lebanese army in the south.
