A Qatari medical aid plane landed at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, carrying 130 tons of supplies. The shipment was welcomed by acting Health Ministry Director-General Fadi Sinan, Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, and other officials.
“This is the 19th plane, with 80% of its cargo being medical aid requested by Lebanon. The 20th shipment will arrive Thursday,” said Ambassador Al Thani, noting Qatar’s total aid to Lebanon has reached 895 tons.
Sinan thanked Qatar, expressing hope for peace and underscoring the urgent need for medical and humanitarian assistance amid ongoing challenges.
