The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported the launch of six rockets from Lebanon toward the Sharon region in central Israel.
Following the rocket launches, sirens sounded across central Israel, prompting hundreds of thousands of Israelis to take shelter.
The Israeli Army Radio stated that four rockets were intercepted, while the fifth landed in an open area.
