Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati is currently meeting with Ali Larijani, senior advisor to Iran's Supreme Leader, at the Grand Serail in Beirut.
The meeting includes the presence of Ambassador Mohammad Reza Shibani, the special envoy of Iran’s Foreign Minister for the Middle East, alongside Mikati’s advisors—former Minister Nicolas Nahas, Ambassador Boutros Assaker, and Ziad Mikati.
Larijani had arrived eat on Friday at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, where he was received by Dr. Khalil Hamdan, representing Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri, along with a delegation that included Talal Hatoum, Ali Hayek, and MP Dr. Ali Mokdad on behalf of Hezbollah’s leadership.
