The Israeli army has warned residents of over 20 towns in southern Lebanon, urging them to evacuate their homes.
Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee posted an statement on the X, ordering the residetns of the following towns to evacuate: Qozh, Beit Leif, Yater, Jbal El Botm, Zibqin, Marwahin, Chihine, Oum Touteh, Boustane, Zalloutiyeh, Yarine, Zahriya, Matmoura, Majdal Zoun, Chmaa, Tayr Harfa, Abou Chach, Jebbayn, Biyad, Mansouri, Kafra, Alma ash Shaab, and Naqoura.
The statement indicated that the activities of Hezbollah necessitate a strong response from the Israel Army. It emphasized that the army does not intend to harm civilians and urged residents to evacuate immediately to areas north of the Awali River. For their safety, the evacuation should occur without delay. Anyone near Hezbollah elements, facilities, or weapons is putting their life at risk, and heading south is strictly prohibited, as it may pose a danger to their lives.
