Caretaker Economy Minister Amin Salam called his Turkish counterpart Ömer Bolat to thank Turkey for its ongoing support to Lebanon.
Salam praised Turkish efforts, especially President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s readiness to provide humanitarian aid, including two naval ships delivering 300 tons of supplies.
The Economy Minister also acknowledged the recent Turkish medical aid, which arrived in Beirut, and the opening of a charity kitchen in Mount Lebanon by Turkey’s IHH.
Both ministers discussed the regional impact of Israel’s military actions and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between Turkey and Lebanon during this critical time.
