Andrea Tenenti, the official spokesperson for UNIFIL, emphasized that the situation in the south is highly concerning, with shelling persisting without interruption.
In an interview with MTV, he stated, "The Israeli army has indicated its intention to carry out a ground incursion into Lebanon and has requested UNIFIL to withdraw from certain positions, particularly along the border strip. Nevertheless, UNIFIL forces will maintain their presence in their current positions."
