Mikati thanked Italy, Qatar, and Jordan for their efforts to stop the Israeli aggression against Lebanon and for the support they provide to help overcome the difficult circumstances.
The Prime Minister received a call from Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who expressed her "full solidarity with Lebanon," confirming that she "continues all diplomatic efforts to achieve a ceasefire and protect civilians." She emphasized that "her country is ready to contribute to the relief efforts being undertaken by the government in cooperation with United Nations organizations."
Mikati also received a call from Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, who affirmed "Qatar's full solidarity with its brothers in Lebanon and readiness to provide all necessary support to the Lebanese people to face the destructive repercussions of the Israeli aggression."
Additionally, the Prime Minister received a call from Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ayman Safadi, who reiterated "the Kingdom's absolute support for Lebanon, its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens, and its rejection of the Israeli aggression against it."
Safadi conveyed to the Prime Minister "King Abdullah II's directives to provide all possible assistance to brotherly Lebanon in facing the repercussions of the war against it and to support its efforts aimed at achieving an immediate ceasefire."
Safadi emphasized the "urgent need for the international community to act immediately to achieve an immediate ceasefire, implement Resolution 1701, and support the Lebanese position expressed by the Prime Minister yesterday."
