German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Jordanian King Abdullah II have spoken on the phone about the importance of Syria’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, German officials said.
The two leaders discussed the need to support an inclusive political process in Syria and the importance of protecting ethnic and religious minorities, a German spokesperson said of the call.
They also discussed the ongoing need for a ceasefire and humanitarian aid in Gaza.
