Iraq says it has secured its border crossing with Syrian after the al-Assad government was overthrown.
The Al-Qaim crossing is “completely closed and the Iraqi border is secured”, the official Iraqi News Agency reported.
The Iraqi Border Guard Command also said in a statement that it does not need any additional forces at the border, which is adequately secured.
