The Islamic Resistance in Iraq said it launched two drone attacks on targets in southern Israel on Sunday evening.
The Iran-backed group said the launches were in solidarity with the people of Palestine and Lebanon.
The attacks came days after Israel sent a letter to the United Nations Security Council, demanding that the government of Iraq bring a halt to the attacks by the militia group. The move prompted Iraq to accuse Israel of trying to legitimise an attack on its territory.
