Reuters reported the killing of a prominent Syrian businessman who supported the Syrian government in an Israeli airstrike near the Lebanese-Syrian border.
The report added that the businessman is Baraa Qaterji, close to the circle of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. He and his brother, Hussam, are subject to US sanctions and are involved in business operations related to oil, logistics, transportation, and construction.
