The Israeli military claims that it allowed 261 trucks carrying humanitarian aid to enter the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) organisation that is in charge of managing the trucks, said 248 went through the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing, with 13 going through the Beit Hanoon (Erez) crossing in the north.
COGAT, the Israeli Defense Ministry agency that oversees the occupied Palestinian territory, said 31 pallets weighing 5.58 tonnes were airdropped over Gaza.
The UN and other international organisations continue to report on Israeli restrictions to aid delivery to the besieged enclave. A group of independent UN experts say famine has spread throughout Gaza after more than nine months of war.
