Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that Moscow sees no desire from the British Labour Party to mend relations with Russia, continuing to view the UK as a hostile country.
Peskov's comments came after the Labour Party won a landslide victory in the parliamentary elections, ending 14 years of Conservative rule. The party has previously indicated that it will continue to support Ukraine with weapons and financial aid against Russia.
