Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi says the Middle East is going through “serious changes” because of the Israeli invasion of Gaza.
He accused Israel’s leaders of attempting to “impose forced displacement [of Palestinians] towards Egyptian territories”.
In this war “the conscience of humanity was absent and the international community remained silent, turning its face away from tens of thousands of innocent victims”, el-Sisi said in a televised address.
