Arab Parliament welcomed UN Security Council (UNSC) resolution calling for an immediate and complete ceasefire in Gaza Strip and withdrawal of Israeli occupation's forces from it and return of displaced Palestinians.
In a statement Tuesday, the Arab Parliament said that this decision is a step in the right direction to stop the continuous aggression and the genocide against Palestinians, regardless of it being eight months delayed due to the American veto. UNSC called for obliging the Israeli occupation to implement the decision immediately and without conditions, as well as the previous UN and International Court of Justice's resolutions, holding them accountable to see it implemented. The Arab Parliament affirmed support for Palestinians and their rights, as well as establishing a Palestinian State with Jerusalem as its Capital, the statement added, commending Arab and International efforts and Algeria's role as well as the Egyptian-Qatari mediation.
