Deputy House Speaker, Elie Ferzli, on Monday maintained that general amnesty law does not include criminals who had killed soldiers from the Lebanese army, adding that lawmakers are entitled to object to the bill at the Parliament.
"There are many unfounded rumors regarding the general amnesty law," Ferzli told a news conference at the Parliament.
On a different note, he indicated that the Parliament would soon embark on studying a new election law that should "put Lebanon on the track of the civil state."
