President Michel Aoun has been following up since early morning on the latest developments in the aftermath of the series of wildfires that swept Lebanon.
Within this context, Aoun received reports on the condition of the damaged towns and regions, in addition to the measures that had been taken to assist the devastated families.
He was also briefed on the primary estimation of damages caused by the blaze.
The President did not fail to heap praise on the support provided by Cyprus, Jordan and Greece to help quench the flames.
On a different note, Aoun is scheduled to meet tomorrow with his Irish counterpart, Michael Higgins, who shall arrive in Lebanon on an official visit this evening.
