MP Samy Gemayel on Wednesday upped calls to form a parliamentary investigation committee to determine responsibilities following a series of wildfires that had been engulfing Lebanon for the past days.
"Today we have a fire problem, and we may witness flooding next week," Gemayel warned during a press conference at the Parliament.
"We must get prepared; natural disasters are recurring and we must anticipate them," he underlined.
"No one will be left homeless; therefore, we contact tourism companies in Lebanon which offered rooms for those who lost their houses," he indicated, adding that the houses belonging to his Kataeb party are also available to host the devastated.
