OGERO, the leading telecommunications provider in Lebanon, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dell Technologies that will enable them to further enhance their technological capabilities with the aim of enhancing customer experience and driving down costs within the telecommunications industry.
The partnership with Dell Technologies will enable Ogero to implement state-of-the-art, reliable, secure and adaptable solutions that will fuel Lebanon's digital connectivity and infrastructure.
The MoU was signed by Imad Kreidieh, Chairman and CEO, OGERO and Mohammed Amin, Senior Vice-President, Middle East, Russia, Africa and Turkey (MERAT) at Dell Technologies in the presence of senior representatives from both organizations.
Since being founded in 1972, OGERO has constantly been innovating to meet the ever-evolving needs of its customers. In fact, it has established itself as being the trusted, go-to option for all telecom networks that include Mobile Operators, Data Service Providers (DSPs), Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and more within the country of Lebanon. It is also constantly innovating to improve and expand its portfolio to include voice and data services primarily based on Fiber (FTTx).
Today however, success for an organization is determined by being able to deliver a differentiated product or service to the market either by implementing a capability that nobody else offers or the speed with which one can offer it.
The MoU signed between the two organizations will now have them work to implement a significant cloud project that will host their workload as well as those from their affiliates. The solutions offered by Dell Technologies will enable OGERO to become more agile to operate and capitalize on the opportunities that will present themselves in any market condition particularly in today's day and age when customers expect to get what they want instantly.
Furthermore, both Dell Technologies and OGERO will collaborate to understand the unique requirements and objectives of the company, its customers and the Lebanese government in order to lay the foundation on which a thriving and sustainable economy can be built.
Imad Kreidieh, Chairman and CEO, OGERO, said:
