Agriculture Minister Hassan Al Lakkis, on Monday received in his office at the Ministry the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Chris Rampling.
Minister Al Lakkis and Ambassador Rampling reportedly discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the mechanism of cooperation in the coming phase.
Discussions also covered means of supporting some agricultural projects in accordance with the Ministry's set priorities, and increasing trade exchange, especially at the agricultural level.
Minister Lakkis also met with Denmark's Ambassador to Lebanon, Merete Juhl, and former Danish Minister Esben Lunde, who congratulated him on his ministerial post.
The delegation presented Denmark's expertise in the agricultural sector and the preservation of environment.
Al Lakkis then met with FAO Ambassador Maurice Saadeh, with talks reportedly touching on joint projects between the Ministry and FAO.
