A convoy of 370 Syrian refugees left the camps located in the town of Arsal, heading to the Syrian territory, within the framework of an agreement supervised and implemented by the Lebanese General Security which monitored the move, along with other security services.
The displaced persons were transferred to the Zumrani crossing in preparation for their welcoming by the Syrian State.
Syrians voluntarily returning to their villages in Qalamoun al-Gharbi and Al-Qusair have left with their vehicles and possessions through the Wadi Hemayed.
The Syrian authorities approved nearly 450 names out of the 3,000 who have applied to return to Syria.
It is worth mentioning that a sit-in will take place tomorrow in the town of Arsal to demand greater efforts from the Syrian and Lebanese States to facilitate the return of Syrian refugees to their country, to confirm the rejection of naturalization and to insist on the right of return to Syria.
